I work at Home Depot in the plumbing department. The owner Mike came in to get some pipe cut for a table the wanted to put in their cookie shop. I spent 1.5 hours cutting pipe and got to talking with Mike. He is a genuinely kind, respectful, and considerate guy. He has been making cookies since he was young and has a true passion. At the end of cutting the pipe for him he left 4 coupons for his cookie store. (Which I had never been to.) He invited me to come swing by once the table is complete. I got home that night, told my room mates I met the owner of Mary's Mountain Cookies and they flipped! They were like, "That place is the best! It's a cookie except it's like a full meal cuz you always walk away full." So we waited 3 days and swung by. The table was amazing and a great addition to the much needed seating. It was a great little shop and the two working the counter were extremely nice and loved telling you which cookies they prefer. It was a great experience. I will be back.

When I used to live in Fort Collins this was one of my favorite places, and now after being gone from Fort Collins for over a year this is one of the places I miss the most! I love LOVE cookies, so this place is like my heaven. Marys Mountains has some of the best cookies I've ever had, and now that I don't live in Foco any more I can't find a cookie place to live up to Mary's standards. Everything is awesome in this shop. From the cookies to the cookie dough in a cup, you can't go wrong. My favorite cookie was their S'more cookie, which as previous reviewers had said was better then a cookie and better then a S'more. Pro Tip: Ask them to heat up the S'more cookie or take it home and heat it up for a delicious warm cookie! Taste more like camp fire s'more when warmed up!

Not too much to say about a nice sweet tooth's dream place. Great cookies, either alone or smooshing(frosting or ice cream). I said Smooshing, I know its misspelled but that's ok this time. The lady behind the counter was helpful and efficient. She was also putting together some cookie trays and they looked very good as well. This place even has cookie dough to go in boxes for home baking or to go in cups with toppings for munching.

    Get the rasberry lemonade cookie!

Awesome cookies, very nice staff. I recommend this place. All the employees were attractive blonde women. They were open till 10 pm!

Good God almighty. Let me start by saying that I am a longtime hobbyist baker. I bake ALL THE THINGS, all the time. My favorite thing to make (and eat) are cookies. This is all to say...I am very, very picky about baked goods and cookies in general. THESE. ARE. GREAT. My absolute favorite is the chocolate chip cookie dough sandwich (look for it in the fridge). They also make a mean Charlie Brown, which is a giant peanut butter cookie half-dipped in milk chocolate. They usually have a great special where you buy 5 or 6 cookies and get one for free...do it! Freeze them! I am both glad and sad that they don't have these in the Bay Area where I live, because I would be here all the time.

  • Orr R.

Absolutely worth the $3. I ordered a s'mores cookie. It was recently baked (~7pm) so clearly they're continuously baking throughout the day. The service was friendly and they had samples out. Like another recent reviewer, I, too, bake frequently and wanted to be able to scoff at this standard-looking cookie shop... but I'm glad they proved me wrong. The cookie was a rich, goopy, mashmellowey mess, complete with Graham crackers atop and below the cookie. I'll definitely return soon for an ice cream sandwich.

so so. we were visiting from Chicago and found out about this place from yelp. Don't get me wrong, the cookies were good, but not 5 star good. Not gonna lie, a little shocked with the reviews. Service was sweet and the place was cute, but the cookies were just A-OK

  • Paul G.

If you like cookies, this is the place for you. The staff are really friendly, and the cookies are great. I wish they had more selections that have nuts in them. Thankfully the turtle cookie is really good. Make sure to check in for a 20% discount!

Well we recently moved to Fort Collins from the Bay Area and Mountain Mary's is our go to destination! Still rocking out the best desserts ever!!! Btw try the smores cookie!

  • Haley S.

I have dreams about their Smore's cookie ice cream sandwich. It's a very good thing that we live in Denver, because it would be dangerous for our waistlines if Mary's were within our city limits.

  • Amber W.

I love love love this place. The cookies are always soft and fresh. The ice cream sandwich is my favorite. Either the double chocolate with mint ice cream or the chocolate chip with chocolate ice cream. Worth the money and wait (if there is a line, depends on time of day). Always go when I'm in FOCO.

Walked in here after having some great sandwiches at Backcountry Delicatessen. We were invited to sample a few of their offerings on a plate: Chocolate Avalanche- Put fudge filling between two chocolate chip cookies...and there you go. Pretty tasty, not too sweet, but very much so... Snickerdoodle- Their rendition was a bit saltier and heftier than your typical sugar-cookie-like snickerdoodle. Not sure I'm a fan. I ended up getting a big Blueberry Cheesecake cookie, which turned out to be pretty darned good I must say. Large blueberries still intact inside the cookie, combined with cheesecake batter and a slightly hard frosting drizzled over the top of the cookie. Really good. Just right. A hefty cookie will set you back about 3-4 bucks, so be warned. :-) If I'm ever back in the area I'm going to try their Ice cream cookie sandwiches...

The BEST cookies I ever had! They are so chewy and delicious. Perfect with a glass of milk. Each cookie is really big, so I only can eat half of one at a time. My ABSOLUTE favorite is the smore cookies. It's like heaven in your mouth. The marshmallows are nice and fluffy, lots of chocolate (but not overwhelming), and the graham crackers give it a nice texture in the middle. I have no idea how they keep the cookie still really chewy with all the extra stuff on top. I also really like their snickerdoodle cookies and orange cookie. They sometimes have samples out, so it's really good to try them before you buy it. They have a good deal where you can buy 6 cookies and get 2 more for free. They also have punch cards. I love getting their day old cookies for a cheaper price, but you need to come earlier in the day to get them. They go out quickly!

  • Matthew H.

The employees here are always nice and friendly. Last time I got their cookies delivered they left out one of our cookies I called them up and they let me pick it up the next day after I got off work. They rock! The cookies are amazing as well !!

  • Danielle L.

I was expecting these cookies to be good, but I had no idea they were this good! Wow! Definitely a must-try when in Fort Collins. Try the ice cream sandwich! You can choose your own cookie, and they put vanilla ice cream between the halves....and trust me, one cookie is plenty! They are huge!

Oh, what a dangerous place. There ought to be a warning posted on the door for dieters, diabetics, and those suffering from ADD because you are not going to be able to walk out of here without a sugar buzz in a little brown paper bag. I am someone who finds myself in that first category of people more often than I'd really like to admit. I will try to rationalize the indulgence by telling myself that I will only eat half of a cookie. The fault in that logic is that the cookies are ginormous, so only eating half hardly represents a restrained portion, not to mention the fact that to date I have not had the self-control to stop at half a cookie. I recommend coming here to split a cookie with a friend, that is if you can agree upon what kind of cookie ... so many delicious flavors, often with seasonal or holiday-specific specialties to choose from!

    (4)
  • Malory S.

These are the best cookies. Huge portions, so share one with a friend. We tried several flavors and my favorite was the lemon one. The turtle ones are good too, but oh so rich. You'll need an extra long work out after visiting here, but it is so worth it. Four stars because the cookies are soooooo greasy. I'm sure it's all that butter, but it's a bit much.

    (4)
  • Chad B.

It's always a pleasure to interact with the staff there. Cookie Mike climbs mountains and runs marathons so we've got things to chat about! The fact that their cookies are good is just icing on the.... cookie!

  • Katie A.

It's so hard not to always go here for dessert when in Old Town. Their treats also make for lovely and yummy gifts for new neighbors, to thank someone, etc. You really can't go wrong with any choice here. They have frozen treats for those hot days too. It's great for locals and tourists alike. Plus, what's easier to eat while strolling around other than a giant cookie?

    (5)
  • Tara W.

Huge wonderful cookies, brownies, cookie sandwiches, etc. Great taste. Could use some more seating but overall it was a good visit.

  • Leah B.

BEST COOKIES EVER. Wow! I walked into this store yesterday and walked out with a dozen plus 5 free cookies. The selection is awesome and the girls behind the counter are very helpful and friendly. Great shop! Will definitely return.

I'm a big fan of Mary's Mountain Cookies! When my work place wanted to do something special for employee appreciation, I reached out to Mary's. I asked for a special cookie - just for us - and they delivered! We ended up ordering 100 cookies for our employees. They were a mix of our specially made cookie (look for it, chocolate fudge cookie with raspberry flavor called "Raspberry Afternoon Delight), the M&M cookie, salted caramel, snickerdoodle, and pumpkin chocolate chip. The employee appreciation was a huge success and everyone raved about these cookies! I recommend Mary's for large cookies orders (company and family events) in addition to simply stopping in for a treat. If you stop in... my go to cookie is the S'mores cookie.

  • Carrie K.

I stopped by last Sunday to pick up some cookies (we did the buy 12 get 5 free deal). I had my eye on this place for weeks, as I was competing in a fitness competition in Colorado that weekend, and was looking forward to some treats afterward and for my birthday. While 17 cookies maaaaay be a bit overboard, they were all AMAZING and definitely worth the wait! We still have some left over and I have to try and control myself from devouring them all at once. :)

    (5)
  • David K.

I think people just believe it's extraordinary because they expect it to be. They are decent cookies, but really you're paying for the cutesy downtown shop vibe, nothing super high-quality or creative. And the overuse of (Rocky) Mountain in business names is tiresome. Employees are nice.

  • Ron B.

I stopped in once on a whim to see if they had gluten-free cookies. I picked up two and went on my way. When I had the cookies later, I realized they were seriously the best gluten-free cookies I'd ever had. I went back a few weeks later and picked up even more, asked them how long they'd keep and they told me and let me know I could freeze them. Which was good to know, since I wanted to get more. All of the praise is warranted, believe the hype. That said, I discovered later that not all of these sites are owned by the same person. It's some kind of franchise, so...just be aware that not all of the places have the same policies (i.e. buy six, get two free) because I learned this visiting a different location after my great experience here. Nonetheless, the cookies are excellent.

  • Lisa M.

So glad I stopped in today! The girls working were so nice and helpful! I bought a smores cookie because they looked absolutely decadent.. and it tasted as good as it looked! I have a huge sweet tooth but even I had to cut it up and freeze it. Its that big and rich :) Cost a little over $3 but its for a HUGE cookie!! I tried a sample of the raspberry lemonade cookie on the way out. I'll be getting that one next time!

  • Mohsen H.

I give Mary's Mountian cookies a 4 rating because the cookies are decent tasting, however, I wish you had the option to purchase soft or cripsy cookies (apparently they are all soft). I think the price of the cookies is a bit high, although I must admit, they are some pretty damn big cookies... but $2.75 is a bitch much considering it's just flour and eggs as the basic ingredients (which aren't really expensive). The young lady that was working on September 10th, 2014 was very nice and sweet, she gets a 10 star. Most people enjoy soft cookies, therefore, I would recommend this shop to get your cookie fix!

  • Susan M.

Fantastic stop for anyone who loves cookies! I tried the almond-glazed sugar cookie (delicious) and a wookie. I pride myself in the amount of sugar and sweetness that I can consume in one sitting, but the wookie lasted me three days - a delightful treat, indeed!

  • E D.

I really considered trying the stuffed gluten free cookies but it was too stuffed and now I'm regretting it. My partner got a dirty s'mores cookie and it looked delish. He even saved some for later. We have been here before and are never disappointed. They always have out a sample to try and if you get there when it's a little slow you can get day old cookies for cheaper.

  • Zachary F.

Best cookies I have ever had, baked over 5004 feet. I can see how some would think twice after seeing the prices, but it's worth it. PLUS the nice person who helped me was perfect. Thanks again for your help. If you want quality over quantity, this is your place. I look forward to telling everyone I know about my fantastic experience.

    (5)
  • Justin V.

Pretty much can't get enough cookies. They are all amazing. Never been disappointed. We even bought a special cookie and dough selection for our wedding reception dessert.

We so need one of these in Denver! I loved Mary's cookies when I was at CSU and now when I go to Breck all winter, but to have a shop in Denver would be lovely. I'd also weigh a few pounds more, but who cares when their cookies are so wonderful. I was really good and only got 1 cookie today- a chocolate mint which looked like 1 cookies pressed together. It was awesome and for $2.75 it was a great treat for my drive south on I-25. Mary- are you listening? Please open up in Denver and soon.

First I want to thank mike for being a concerned manager. He read my substandard review and promptly contacted me. He apologized for my disappointment and instead of insisting that I was wrong, he kindly asked questions about the bases of my review and at what time period I had tried them. Unbeknown to myself, he had taken over as manager only 3yrs ago. My bad review was based on a previous time. According to Mike they have tried hard to shed any bad notions from the previous management. I agreed to give them another try. And I am sooooo glad I did. I went in today and sampled 4 flavors. The oatmeal chocolate chip, very moist, well balanced flavors but this probably won't be my go-to cookie. The chocolate drizzled pumpkin cookie, now there's everything you want in a pumpkin cookie, soft, fluffy, strong pumpkin flavor, then the drizzle of chocolate sets it off. I am fearful that this might be a seasonal flavor. Boo! The almond glazed sugar cookie, wow! Sugar cookies are too plain for my taste but this one stands alone. The almond glaze is perfect and has no competition with the sugar cookie. The Charlie Brown, a peanut butter cookie dipped in chocolate. I took this one home and did not try it for a few hours, that may account for it being slightly (I mean slightly) dry. But peanut butter is my favorite cookie and I am a fanatic about them. So my standards are extremely high. I will happily try this one again. I am happy that I gave them another try and discovered that they are great, but on the other hand, it will be dangerous for my waistline to have them so close and that their specials are so good. Can't wait to try even more flavors soon. Again, thanks Mike!

A week later and I am still dreaming (and drooling) over the s'mores cookie I had from here last weekend. My husband were in old town for the day and stopped in to grab a cookie for a mid-day snack between brewery and museum hopping. Holy cow - I don't think I've ever purchased a more delicious cookie. It was basically a graham cracker with a giant chunky chocolate chip cookie and then another graham cracker, then covered in a giant melted marshmallow and some chocolate drizzle. I only ate half and saved the other half for the next day. Sure glad I didn't eat it all at once because it was huge and I would have been in major sugar shock. Plus, it was a nice snack the next day, too. Mmmmm. Well worth the many calories and $3 spent. Next time I'm in the area, I'm stopping in for another.

I wanted to add a follow up to my previous post, and I wish I could figure out how to upload an image. I worked with Mike to make sure that my daughters birthday had a fun little element of one of her favorite things (Monsters University), Mike made sure this happened. I just got 7 text messages from my daughter all on how awesome the surprise was for her special day. I couldn't be happier with the customer service and my entire experience with MM Cookies!!!!

Awesome (and HUGE) cookies! Definitely a decadent treat while you are strolling on College Ave. They have cookies, cookie dough (which uses egg whites) and they will even make you a cookie ice cream sandwich! You can't go wrong at Mary's Mountain Cookies!

Deee-licious. Some recipes could be a touch too sweet, but these are cookies after all. Favorites? Red Velvet and straight up Chocolate Chip

There is a Mary's Mountain Cookies location in the Council Tree shopping center as well. I would have posted it as a new entry but I was unable to find an address, phone number and all that stuff to post it. So we will go with this one. Mary's Mountain Cookies are simply delish. To my knowledge the best cookies in Fort Collins that I have come across. Not only do they serve cookies but ice cream and cookie dough that you can eat out of a cup as well. Now I have had the chocolate chip cookie, a blueberry cookie squished onto a sugar cookie, a pumpkin cookie, the monster cookie and I think that about covers it. Once again, awesome, awesome cookies. Don't delay and go chow down on these cookies located not only in Council Tree (In south Fort Collins) but in Oldtown as well.

  • Madeline K.

Mary's Mountain Cookies is a gem in Old Town and makes for the perfect dessert. I personally am a huge fan of the Monster cookie, Cranberry Walnut Oat, and Charlie Brown. Definitely a great place to try if you haven't done so already!

Just fell in love with the Monkey Bread from Mary's Mountain Cookies downtown. They trump the average cinnamon roll in looks and taste. Customer service is always super friendly and it is the best people watching place in Fort Collins!

  • Ronald S.

so many cookies so little time ... we were in toward the end of the day and they still had a lot of options. i think we got a snoopy, a charlie brown and something else. i dont understand the names, but i do know the cookies were very good. prices were reasonable. not huge cookies, but bigger and better than your every day cookie.

  • Savannah B.

Soft, big cookies. Clever flavor combinations as well as the classics. Buttercream and ice cream sandwich choices and a very patient, friendly staff. They honor their Facebook fans with great deals and free cookies. I like to get the 3 for 1 day old deal behind the pay area and wrap/freeze a couple for later. Stay, get a drink and watch the action in old town. Love to support this unique place!!

Tasty treats and excellent customer service! I love their Snickerdoodle cookies! I'll be back for more! :)

NOM. NOM. NOM. If you've got enough patience to let the ice cream sit on your tongue, it will sort of seep over your taste buds, caressing them, blanketing them in sweet, succulent heaven. If you sandwich it between two of Mary's monster cookies (especially the Turtle cookies!) and you don't like your concoction, there is something seriously wrong with you. And if you don't acquire diabetes after wolfing it down, then you really need to sell your insulin.

Really delicious hand made cookies of all kinds of varieties, including brownies. Very friendly counter service too.

Overpriced and doughy. There are cheaper cookie places in town that taste much better!

  • April M.

Mary's Mountain Cookies makes the most delicious cookies! I live in Fort Collins and it is my favorite place to get dessert. Anytime we are in Old Town, it is almost impossible for me not to stop and get an M&M cookie.

  • Michael N.

Absolutely a must-have every time I go to Fort Collins. The cookies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, brownies, cookie dough - I've tried them all and wow, best ever!! Great value for the cost.

    (5)
  • Steve C.

Look this place had some of the best cookies I have ever eaten. The fresh blueberry was out of this world. The cookie was huge and the price was around 3 dollars. If I went back and it was 10 dollars I would still be a buyer.

    (5)
  • Brian B.

These cookies are the highlight of any trip to Fort Collins. The cookies are soft, huge, and occasionally drowning in frosting. It doesn't get better than this. They have basic choc. chip and PB cookies, but my favorite is the snickers cookie, or the avalanche, which is 2 standard cookies made into a sandwich w/ buttercream frosting. So rad.

  • Arlene D.

You will have nothing but a wonderful experience!! The cookies are amazing, of course, but the brownies are to die for! The party trays with the smaller cookies have been a great item to bring when going somewhere. They are always well received. The prices are very reasonable for the large size of each item and the size of the party trays. A great value. That being said, the staff at this store are just as amazing as the products they sell. You are immediately acknowledged when you walk in, as is everyone else that comes in behind you. They are very patient while people make their selections (and there is a very large variety to choose from). They usually have a special, buy 6, get 2 free and buy 12 and get 5 free. When you factor that in, the value is even greater. I have become a regular customer and would not go to any other Mary's Mountain Cookie store. I highly recommend that if you have that special event to attend, bring the cookie tray! (and be sure to bring home some of the others for yourself) Shout out to Mike and all the staff.

When I want to grab a sweet treat to bring to a client meeting, I love stopping by Mary's Mountain Cookies to grab a few cookies. The day-old are great because they are cheaper and they taste just as yummy as the day's cookies. I don't go here often, but when I do, the peanut butter kiss cookie or the M&M cookie is my pick of posion. This is a great place to bring out-of-towners for a treat, while strolling around Old Town. Bring the kiddos as they LOVE to pick out their own cookie!

    (5)

Delicious, HUGE cookies! Ice cream can be added, too!

Mary's Mountain Cookies in Downtown Fort Collins makes the best cookies I've ever had! Even better, they're constantly coming up with new creative recipes so you can always try something new. They have all kinds of special cookie gifts as well. Check them out!!

I go here as little as possible because I know how bad the cookies are for me! They are soft and delicious, but I attempt to treat myself very rarely.

  • Chelsea A.

I have to stop by every time I am in old town. I do not care who I am with, I drag them in anyways. It smells like heaven when you walk in. During a hot summer day I get an ice cream sandwich. My favorite is a snickers cookie with cookie dough ice cream in the middle! So amazingly delicious. Also a bargain is the day old cookies. They taste just as fresh and they are cheap!

    (5)
  • Brittany D.

These are the best cookies I have ever had! Hands down amazing! Its like eating a mean but it s a cookie, they are huge and you can even get them with frosting sandwiched between 2 cookies!! Talk about a sugar rush. They do also have a location over in the front range village shopping center close to Target. As well as one in the mall at centerra in loveland. Great place to grab a snack and up your calorie intake!

My wife and I moved to Fort Collins this summer and fell in love with this place. The cookies are amazing and the staff are awesome. Don't miss out on the ice cream cookie sandwiches, they are to die for. We loved this place so much that we had them make cookies for our wedding a few weeks ago...and let me tell you, everyone loved them. I think we had 9 different types of cookie and Mike worked with us to make smaller sizes so that people could try a few different kinds. then later in the night we brought out mini-cookie ice cream sandwiches...the crowd went wild. Mike delivered the cookies and ice cream sandwiches to the event and let us use a dry-ice cooler to keep them frozen, he was awesome to work with. I really can't say enough about this place. Everyone loved cookies at the wedding instead of cake, it made it memorable and was way cheaper than having a cake made...can't beat that.

There are a few places in Fort Collins that are perfect for creating those special moments, where everyone is happy, smiling from ear to ear. Mary's Mountain Cookies is one of them. These cookies are gigantic! They are also amazingly delicious. I love how thick and dense they are and because of this, they have a chewy, almost undercooked texture. That is my favorite cookie texture. I'm not partial to thin, crisp, crunchy, crumbly cookies. I'm all about chewy, doughy, moist, dense cookies. I was also a big fan of the sliced strawberries on mine, the natural sweetness of the juices toned down the sugar in the cookie and creamy frosting a bit.

  • Michelle K.

Dropped in on a whim after dinner one night. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, but I can never resist pumpkin, so I picked the peanut butter pumpkin chip cookie. It was so moist that it fell apart quite easily. I didn't mind, as I happily munched on the wonderfully chewy and tasty cookie, which was much larger than it appeared behind the counter. My friend picked the peanut butter sandwich cookie with the chocolate filling, which was also super delicious and chewy. I love local shops and this cookie store is a must-try if you're ever in the area! I wasn't put off by the pricing, as the cookies are quite large and a decadent treat!

If there isn't a Mary's Mountain Cookie shop at the gates of Heaven, I'm not so sure I want to go. Head straight to the day-old cookie pile - quaintly displayed as "well-aged" cookies - grab as many bags as your little arms can carry and then go check out the case for whatever else looks good! I plan my outings in Old Town so that I have a nice, light, inexpensive lunch, and then I head over to Mary's Mountain and load up on sugar and spend ALL the rest of my cash... yes, they are expensive, but WHO CARES?!?! Our favorite can be found in the refrigerator. It is fittingly called The Wookie Cookie - One chocolate chip cookie, one chocolate cookie, filled with chocolate chip cookie dough and then dipped in milk chocolate and white chocolate... this thing MUST weigh 2 pounds! My son put it best when he said it was the best cookie he'd ever had and that he can't wait to be old enough to drive to Ft. Collins, buy a Wookie and eat the WHOLE THING by himself!

  • Thao T.

These cookies are awesome! I'm still eating them! My friend got the turtle one and I got the smores one. Mine is a chocolate chip cookie, topped with smores (three jumbo marshmallows, graham cracker, with chocolate drizzle on top. It's amazing. And the cookies are pretty big, as big as my hand, not bad for an afternoon snack =) The owner is also really nice, she leaves samples of cookies out as well

  • Megan C.

My favorite decadent treat to get when I'm feeling super depressed and bad about myself. Was almost on a first name basis with all of the employees when I first moved to Fort Collins and they never questioned why I had dry tear stains on my face and seemed oblivious to the visible and active growth of my muffin top. I'm not seeing the ladies as frequently these days but it's always nice to stop in for a little love. If I feel guilty about spending the money the day old cookies are a bargain and taste just as delicious as the freshies. I frequently have inappropriate fantasies about the "white out" and the "s'mores" and I'm looking forward to the day when I'm experiencing enough self-loathing to rationalize "the wookie" (which is the best name ever for two cookies sandwiching cookie dough and dipped in chocolate). Magic!

I had their turtle cookie and it was so good. Their ice cream sandwiches were delicious and so much better tasting because they were freshly made. Very good cookies! I took off a star because I don't think it was really worth the price. However, it was still a very good experience.

This place is the BEST!!! the cookies are incredible and come in flavors you've never imagined. My dad and I are chocolate lovers and this is our new favorite spot. The staff is so accommodating that they actually delivered cookies to my dad on his birthday when I couldn't be there with him to celebrate. And to Chuck- $3 for a homemade, fresh, huge cookie is NOT a big deal. You can eat corn-syrup laden, chemically preserved cookies for less but is it worth it? My friends who are bakers charge far more. Mary's is a heck of a deal if you ask me!

The cookies are amazing plus you can get an ice cream sandwich that will last you two days. This is my favorite dessert place in Fort Collins. I daydream about it all the time.

I love this place! I used to live in Old Town, so it wasn't uncommon to ride my bike down there and stop at Mary's Mountain. At the suggestion of a girl who worked there, I tried a "SMores" cookie (not sure if they still have them) and it was SOOO good! Every cookie I've had there has been absolutely delicious! My favorites include the "SMores", "Snickers" Snickerdoodle" and "Frosted Sugar" cookies. They certainly aren't healthy, but that's not what you go to a cookie shop for anyway! The cookies are always really big and moist and I love that they have so many creative flavors. The staff has also always been very friendly and talkative, so it makes going in there even better. The cookies are a bit more on the expensive side, but they often have deals (such as buy 2 get 2 free), or you can buy "older" cookies on sale in packs. I wish I still lived in Old Town because I'd make it there more often. Now if only they can create a "calorie free" cookie! I'd go there EVERY day, no matter where I live! :)

My first experience here with a basic choc chip cookie was not good, and i swore i would never go back.. however that was 2 years ago, and i have gone back now and like some of them much better. the cookies are huge and i think priced well. some have flavor, some dont. good ones to get are their pumpkin peanut butter choc, molasses, coffee choc and the choc cookes w/peanut butter filling sanwiches. they ahe a lot of cookies to choose from everyday. they also do ice cream sandwiches

Cases chock full of wonderful looking cookies, until you see the PRICES! I visited the store to get my 5yr old a cookie for dessert. He chose a sugar cookie in the shape of a Christmas tree with icing and sprinkles. It cost $2.94!@#$?!!! For ONE cookie. For this price, I had to have a taste. Totally unremarkable. And totally overpriced. I don't recall seeing any cookie for under $2.40 each. I'm sorry, but I found this outrageous. I'd much prefer to visit the Safeway bakery and get one of their jumbo gourmet cookies for approx. $1 each. And they are SUPERB, in my opinion. I don't see how one can expect to run a business selling cookies at these prices.....but what do I know? They have been there for several years now.

Magic!

Mary's Mountain Cookies in Downtown Fort Collins makes the best cookies I've ever had! Even better, they're constantly coming up with new creative recipes so you can always try something new. They have all kinds of special cookie gifts as well. Check them out!!

I think people just believe it's extraordinary because they expect it to be. They are decent cookies, but really you're paying for the cutesy downtown shop vibe, nothing super high-quality or creative. And the overuse of (Rocky) Mountain in business names is tiresome. Employees are nice.

Fantastic stop for anyone who loves cookies! I tried the almond-glazed sugar cookie (delicious) and a wookie. I pride myself in the amount of sugar and sweetness that I can consume in one sitting, but the wookie lasted me three days - a delightful treat, indeed!

Customer service is always super friendly and it is the best people watching place in Fort Collins!

so many cookies so little time ... we were in toward the end of the day and they still had a lot of options. i think we got a snoopy, a charlie brown and something else. i dont understand the names, but i do know the cookies were very good. prices were reasonable. not huge cookies, but bigger and better than your every day cookie.

NOM. NOM.

The employees here are always nice and friendly. Last time I got their cookies delivered they left out one of our cookies I called them up and they let me pick it up the next day after I got off work. They rock! The cookies are amazing as well !!

The fact that their cookies are good is just icing on the.... cookie!

    (5)

Overpriced and doughy. There are cheaper cookie places in town that taste much better!

Mary's Mountain Cookies makes the most delicious cookies! I live in Fort Collins and it is my favorite place to get dessert. Anytime we are in Old Town, it is almost impossible for me not to stop and get an M&M cookie.

Absolutely a must-have every time I go to Fort Collins. The cookies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, brownies, cookie dough - I've tried them all and wow, best ever!! Great value for the cost.

Look this place had some of the best cookies I have ever eaten. The fresh blueberry was out of this world. The cookie was huge and the price was around 3 dollars. If I went back and it was 10 dollars I would still be a buyer.

So rad.
